About Owen

There are some decisions in life that I regret immensely. One of the things that I don’t is having an ability to think and express myself. It’s something I treasure greatly (although I don’t always use it to its fullest capacity, I’m afraid), and hopefully am able to show in the stuff that I put up on this blog.

One thing you should realise way before you even begin reading my entries is that this isn’t really the typical “I washed my face” type of blogs. I often use this as a sketchpad, a place to store and hopefully hone my ideas. As such you might find that some of my entries are pretty disjointed, some are lengthy without reason, and some thoroughly nonsensical. I do hope, however, that you’ll be able to find something here that tells you a little bit more about me – because the way I see it, I seem to express myself better (occasionally, with the help of a cuppa at Starbucks) through writing.

Things I find myself drawn into writing about are stuff that happens beyond my familial sphere. In a sense, stuff like current affairs and matters of general knowledge comes naturally, while stuff like romance and love is really too difficult for me. I wonder, occasionally, if I am slightly autistic. (If so, then I would like to think that I’m high-functioning.)

  1. Steve says:

Any idea why there is often a separation of service and cashier function? Drives me crazy waiting for change. It seems such an inefficient way to deliver service.
If you ask the staff themselves they have no idea why it is so organized.
    Unthinking automatons.

Next question – why is photography banded in shops and shopping centers?
These are not exactly top secret military installations?
